Leaving Puerto Baquerizo Moreno towards the upper part of San Cristobal Island and with the complement of the mountain bike activity, we began the descent from the La Soledad viewpoint at 320 meters above sea level, heading to the coffee plantation for 1 hour, upon arriving at the hacienda we will leave the bicycles to begin the descent towards the Jardín de las Opuntias, we will walk 2 kilometers down and 2 kilometers up, approximately 1 hour down and 1:20 up, following the path we will see abundant cacti of the genus Opuntia, This place is particular since it has large cacti. Some can measure up to four meters in height. Following the trail it is possible to see species of flora such as Galapagos cotton, chala, Muyuyo, Algarrobo, Palo Santo, Matazarno, Horse roller, Button mangrove and Manzanillo. In addition to the fauna present, Maria canary, San Cristobal mockingbird, flycatcher, small ground finch, cactus finch, tree finch. We will arrive at a beach called (Veinte Varas) where we can cool off by swimming.
